Bickley Rivera, as "Island Girl", brings you the soothing sounds of the tropical steel drums, performing classics such as "Yellow Bird", fun pop tunes like "Tequila!", reggae favorites "One Love" and island songs "Teaser", "Dolla-Dolla". With Bickley's improvisational style, you will enjoy every genre and reminise of your trips to the Caribbean, or just melt away under a Florida coconut tree!

Island Girl performs for all size events as a single, duo or trio act. In her previous group, "Cuba Libre", she was keyboardist and lead singer, originating and producing "Caribbean Madness", the only Caribbean Riverboat Cruise series on the Connecticut River, which sold out for 5 seasons.

Ms. Rivera has appeared on television, many large-scale festivals, and numerous radio stations as well as some stations in Canada and overseas. She studied Steel Pan at Saint Petersburg College and has performed at such establishments as the Ritz Carlton, Legends Field (Yankee Training Stadium) and the St. Pete Times Forum as well as other greater Tampa Bay and Sarasota area locations, festivals, corporate events, pool parties and weddings.

Kathy Hill resident of Wellington at Seven Hills since 2005, began writing children’s picture books with friend and Wellington at Seven Hills neighbor Tom Sandusky, currently they have published four; Gracie, the glass tree frog, Spidy, the spider monkey, Grandmother Sloth, and how she got her smile and their latest, Peter, the poison dart frog, prior to that she had written songs and poems. Perhaps a new book may have a pig as the main character because Kathy has a new pig heart valve that hopefully will allow her a good many more years of fun.


Since moving into the Wellington at Seven Hills, she has served as Sec. for the Wellington Republican Club and now serves as its President. She is a member or the Hernando County Republican Executive Committee. In addition, she is a member of the Crimson 'Glories, Red Hat Chapter at Wellington. She also loves Mahjong and the Victorious Life Church. Kathy enjoys traveling and cruises she has visited Israel, Italy, Greece, Croatia, England, Wales, South America, and several other countries.


She has been married to Tyler for over 51 years, with 5 sons, and grandmother of seven, 4 boys and 3 girls. Born in Brooklyn, she lived in Connecticut where she was among many things a “Bob Cat” the high school mascot, at Brookfield High School. She also was the head clown in the church clown ministry. She sun Christian Rap songs to men in Garner Correctional Prison, and was the treasurer of Women’s Aglow in Danbury, Ct. as well as a Justice of the in Brookfield, Ct
